Jessica is a 2007 graduate of Boston University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree and is a 2001 graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 1999 from the University of Indianapolis. She joined Progressive Physical Therapy in 2004. Her clinical experience is in outpatient orthopedics treating a wide variety of diagnoses across the spectrum from young athletes to geriatric patients.
Jessica is dedicated to providing high quality, individualized services to all of her patients. She believes in a skilled therapeutic approach that incorporates the use of evidence based practice, a strong patient-therapist relationship, and personalized care. Her goal is to help patients return to their normal daily and work activities and to teach them self-management techniques for the future.
Jessica has earned certifications in the Astym® system, as a Clinical Instructor, and in DSI Work Solutions FCAs, Functional Job Descriptions/Analysis, and Pre-Work Screens. She has additional training in functional assessment and rehabilitation through courses by Gary Gray, PT. Jessica’s professional interests include sports medicine physical therapy and general orthopedics. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her two children, Ethan and Addy, playing in the community basketball and volleyball leagues, and trail running. Jessica and her family reside in Seymour.
