Dr. Jessica Allen, PT, DPT, MS

Seymour Clinic Director and Doctor of Physical Therapy

Jessica is a 2007 graduate of Boston University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree and a 2001 graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 1999 from the University of Indianapolis. Her clinical experience is in outpatient orthopedics treating a wide variety of diagnoses across the spectrum from young athletes to geriatric patients.

Jessica is dedicated to providing high quality, individualized services to all of her patients. She believes in a skilled therapeutic approach that incorporates the use of evidence-based practice, a strong patient-therapist relationship, and personalized care. Her goal is to help patients return to their normal daily and work activities and to teach them self-management techniques for the future.

Jessica has earned certifications in the Astym® system, as a Clinical Instructor, and in DSI Work Solutions FCAs, Functional Job Descriptions/Analysis, and Pre-Work Screens. She has additional training in functional assessment and rehabilitation through courses by Gary Gray, PT. Dr. Allen also has additional training in Dry Needling with both EIM Functional Dry Needling and Integrative Dry Needling. Jessica’s professional interests include sports medicine physical therapy and general orthopedics. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Jessica resides in Seymour with her husband and their children. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, and hiking.
